I think you are wrong about Hispanic Protestants. In many (but not all) of their own countries, the spread of right-wing evangelical protestantism is tied to both rejection of Catholicism there as in league with elites and with missionizing from the US that pushed “biblical values” that are mostly about anti-gay and anti-feminist ideologies. They come with these religious values in place, and often set up or find congregations that mirror them.

It has nothing to do with “American-ness” and represents continuity rather than change (as I think you will see if you look at generation - both age and recency of immigration) - older people steeped in home country experience, and newer immigrants seeing US politics as reflecting those “at home” and are more engaged with preachers and congregations that support this perspective.
