I’m excited to share something with you all that I’ve been working on for the last several months—American Idols, a 4-part podcast about Christian nationalism in the United States!
Episode 1 explores what Christian nationalism is and why we should be paying attention to it.
Episodes 2-4 will cover how it threatens democracy, Christianity, and where we go from here. Each episode will appear on successive Mondays.

The podcast is outstanding! Listened to Ep. 1 this evening. Love the way you bring in friends/colleagues Jemar, Sam, Robby, Anthea, Brad... we’ve read all their books but I gotta say, you are bringing a new level of clarity with this brilliantly structured class that ties so many things together. My husband and I are very impressed with the alliance of wonderful scholars & superb communicators that you-all have established to meet this moment, to make a stand for true Christianity and its proper place in our democracy. This is an immensely courageous and important contribution, and one you’ve obviously made from the heart, and backed by tremendous brain power. We’ve bought the book and will dive in after hearing the whole pod series. Quite the immersive experience, and so thoughtfully, creatively produced. Well done and many thanks!
